Generally, there are only 3 streams that a candidate is provided. Out of these 3 courses, the applicant will have to chose only 1 course and must continue till the last. All the 3 courses are named as Arts, Commerce and Science. The course of Arts is pursued by those applicants who wish to make a career in the fields of Law, Journalism, etc.

Commerce is studied by those who wish to make a career in the fields of business, CA, CS, etc. The field of Science is sub-divided in two sections-Medical and Non-Medical. Medical is studied by those who want to become a Doctor, Pharmacist, etc. The field of Non-Medical is pursued by those applicants who want to become an Engineer. Done about knowing about all the fields. Now, let us talk about the colleges which offer these courses. Talking about the field of Arts, St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai is one of the most renowned colleges that offer this course. The candidates, who look forward to studying their undergrad in this college must know that the admission is provided on the merit basis.

This means that every year, after the submission of the application form, the college prepares a merit list on the basis of the marks one gets in his/ her 12th standard. Candidate, who satisfies the merit list will be able to take admission in the college.

Now, let us talk about the field of Commerce. One of the most popular colleges, that is known for providing the course of Commerce is Sri Ram College of Commerce. This is one of the most premier institutes and it is affiliated by Delhi University. This is situated in Delhi’s North Campus. The admission in this college is provided after the release of the cut off. Each year, the college prepares a cut off list on the basis of the marks one gets in his/ her 12th standard. Normally, the cut off of this college is higher as compared to the cut offs of the other colleges of Delhi University. The cut off of SRCC for the session 2019 has been released on the official website of the college. If you have applied for taking admission in this college, then you must check the cut off immediately if you haven’t.

Last but definitely not the least, let us talk about the stream of Science. This is meant to be one of the most prestigious fields according to the Indian Society. Normally, this field is divided into two categories-Medical and Non-Medical. Medical field is normally related to the subject of Biology. The field of Non-Medical is related to Engineering generally.
