Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2019

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state level entrance Examination Conducted by ‘KARNATAKA EXAMINATION BODY’ (KEA) for the number of Undergraduates programmes such as Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Farm science in prestigious University across Karnataka.  Exams are held in Offline mode, Different private and government colleges of states take part in it. Through this Exams, Students Get Admission into Different colleges (private and Government) across Karnataka. Online Application forms are available for KCET 2019 till March 20. Exams are going to be held on 29th, 30th of April 2019 and May 1, 2019

The Eligibility Criteria checks the Candidate’s Educational background and qualification, Percentage, etc.  ‘Karnataka Examination Authority’’ (KEA) sets the Eligibility Criteria for Appearing Candidates. Check the Eligibility for KCET 2019 below.

  • A candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognise board.
  • The Aspirant have studied Physics and Mathematics as their main subject and English as language subject.
  • Candidates also must have studied Chemistry/ Computer Science Bio technology/ Biology as an elective subject in class 12th.
  • Student belongs to General category should have score atleas 45% in class 12th and for SC/ST category student and OBC student have atleast score 40%.

KCET Application Form 2019

Online filling Application process for KCET 2019 ends on 20 march 2019. Online portal was opened on 5 march 2019, Candidate appearing for KCET 2019 are required to fill the online form before or on 20 march 2019, after that the portal will disappear and candidate will not be allowed to register. After Registration candidate must pay the Application form fee by 21 march 2019. Once the payment done with in the deadline candidate is eligible to Download Admit card to appear in Exam. The Application fee for KCET 2019 is 650 for the candidate from Karnataka and 750 for Outsiders. The Application form for KCET 2019 is available Online only and there is no other mode for registration.

NOTE  : Candidate who has Mention Hiriyur Centre for the Agriculturist quota Practical test Centre are required to change  their Centre Name as it is closed. The form will be again open for Editing from March 21 to 25, 2019.


It is mandatory for the candidate to bring the hall ticket to the examination centre. Once a Candidate will complete the Application form of KCET 2019 will be able to access and download hall ticket.   Application number and date of birth is needed in order to download admit card of ‘kea.kar.nic.in’’ is the official Website. One has to make sure that the details mentioned in the admit card are correct. Applicants must know that hall ticket is only going to made online, no other mode or via post is unavailable.

Th Result 2019 will be declared on 4th week of May 2019 by the karnataka Examination Authority on ‘kae.kar.nic.in’ .Candidate can login to the official website with their registration number and will be able to see their scorecard and can download also. Candidates are require to follow few steps in order to view result. Candidate directly go to the official website page to login and click on ‘RESULTS’ ‘in flashing list. Providing your Registration in the box, ‘appear as click into Result section’ and by submitting it you can view your marks you scored in each subject. Also his/her marks should match with the qualifying marks in order to get admission in the selected college and preferred course they have selected.
