KVPY Registration 2018

Students can apply for the KVPY Entrance exam through online mode only. The registration details are given below:

  • KVPY 2018 Registration will be started from the second week of July 2018.
  • Last date to fill the application form will be the second week of August 2018.

There is no other mode to get the KVPY Application Form 2018.

Before filling the application, candidates keep ready with the scanned images (photograph, signature & scanned copy of caste/medical certificate (only for PwD).Fill the application form carefully and submit it.Take a printout of the KVPY 2018 application form for future references.

Fee payment

General and OBC category candidates have to remit a fee of INR 1000 while SC/ST category candidates have to pay INR 500.It can be paid through either online or offline mode.In case of online mode (credit card/debit card/net banking), enter card number/account number, the validity of the card, CVV or special PIN.In case of offline payment, download the e-challan and deposit the fee in cash at nearest SBI branch.Upload the challan after payment and click on submit.

St. Stephen’s College Cut Offs 2018

St Stephens college has finally released its much anticipated first cut-off list. The cut-off list has increased marginally in several courses this year, as the number of students securing more than 95% in their respective boards has soared compared to last year. The cut-off for English remains at 98.5% while the Economics cut-off has increased by 0.25% from last year’s 98.5 percent. For admission in Eco (Hons), a student needed 90 percent in maths. To pursue English (Hons), the student needed 90 percent in English core. Those applying for history programme need 98 for Science, 98 for Commerce, and 96.5 for Arts stream students. The cut-off for Sanskrit has been reduced by 5% from 70 per cent in 2017 to 65, while for Mathematics, it is 97.5 percent for commerce and science students, and 96.5 percent for arts students. The cut-of for BA programme for humanities students has soared by 0.5 to 95.5, while for commerce and science students it is 98.

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination 2019

Eligibility Criteria of UPSEE

Nationality: Candidates should hod the Indian Citizenship

NRI/FN/PIO can also apply.

Age Limit. There is no particular age limit to apply for the UPSEE Examination.

Qualification Criteria:Candidates applying should be passed out from a recognised board.The minimum percentage that the general category candidates should score is 45% and the reserved category have to score 40 % marks in their qualifying Examination.

The subjects Physics & Chemistry should be a compulsory subject along with any one of the given subjects. Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.

ID Proof- Aadhar Crd is mandatory to apply for this examination,

UPSEE   Application Procedure 2019

The UPSEE Application have to be done in the online mode. Candidates applying should first check the eligibility criteria of UPSEE and only if the candidates meet the eligibility criteria , they should apply for the Examination.

Candidates can make corrections in the application forms but it has to be done within the specified date.The following are the Application procedure that needs to be fulfilled for successful registration.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2019

JEE Main Counselling will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority after the declaration of the result. There will b 97 institutes that will participate in the JEE Main Counselling 2019. The participating institutes are 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes. The participating institutes are The counselling will consist of 6 rounds. Candidates who are able to score the minimum cut off or even more than that will be called for the counselling process. The counselling will be held in the online mode.

Counselling Procedure:

Candidates have to follow the JEE counselling and Seat Allotment procedure to participate in the counselling process. The first step is the registration process.

Registration:

Visit the official website of JEE Main 2019: https://jeemain.nic.in

Click on the link provided on the official website.

Enter JEE Main Roll number, Password and Log in.

After carefully reading the terms and conditions, Click on “I Agree”.

Fill in the required details in the JoSAA correction form.

After entering “ Click on Submit”

Online Choice Filling and Locking: Choice locking can be done after each rounds of counselling.

Select the preferred choice of courses and colleges.

If needed candidates can modify, change or edit the choices.

Choices should be locked before the last date gets over.

Seat Allotment. The seat allotment process is based on the availability of seats, choice filling and most importantly on the merit. There will be two rounds of seat allotment. Candidates will be intimated about the seat allotment process via S.M.S in the the registered mobile number or E-mail.

Seat Acceptance, Fee payment and Document Verification:

There will be options for the seat acceptance and the candidates can choose them based on their needs.

Freeze: In case candidates are satisfied with the seat allotment and do not wish to go further for the other seat allotment process. They should freeze it.

Float: when candidates need to keep the seat allotted but also wants up gradation of their seats, they should follow this option.

Slide:Candidates accept the seat allotted and wish to upgrade the course in the same institute, they will have to stick to this option.

Withdraw:IF in case the candidates have accepted the seat allotment and wants to withdraw it.

Payment of the fee:The counselling fee has to be paid online within the stipulated time period. The payment can be done via net banking or through S.B.I bank e challan.

Document Verification: Candidates have to make their documents verified in the counselling process at the reporting nodal centres.

Reporting: Candidates will be intimated about the allocated via mail and SMS. Candidates have to report to the assigned colleges or institutes  the specific date and time. They have to carry their  original documents and all the needed certificates with them.

Details of BITSAT Admit Card, Important Date.

BITSAT Hall ticket will be released by the second week of April, 2019. BITSAT 2019 will be released in the online mode. Candidates have to visit the official website to download it. The Application ID and the Password will have to be entered to get access to the Hall Ticket. The Admit card is the entry ticket to the examination. Candidates failing  to provide the Hall ticket on the day of the Examination will lead to termination. Examination date and the centre cannot be changed in any circumstances.

Authorities will not accept a hall ticket if it is deformed or damaged. The hall ticket should be kept safe with the candidates as it will be needed in the different level of Admission.

Procedure to download the Hall ticket.

Candidates have to download the hall ticket online. They have to follow a certain procedure to download the Admit Card.

  • Visit the official website of BITSAT 2019: http://www.bits-pilani.ac.in/
  • Click on the tab given as Download Admit Card.
  • Enter the required fields like the Application Number, E-mail Id, User name and Password to log in
  • Click on the “Submit” Button
  • Candidates should download the Admit card after checking the details mentioned on it.
  • Take out print out of the Admit card. It is advisable to take out more than two print out for the future use.

Before downloading the Admit Card   it should be thorough checked by the candidates. In case candidates of any corrigendum it should be informed to the Authorities immediately.

Candidates should carry an ID proof along with the Admit card on the day of the Examination. The ID proof can any of these:Driving License, Passport, Aadhar Card, Pan Card and Voter Id card.

Examination Day Guidelines:

  • Candidates have to bring two colored passport size photo along with the Admit Card and Id proof on the day of the Examination
  • They should reach the Examination centre 45 minutes before the Examination starts.
  • Devices like mobile phone, pagers, calculator etc will not be allowed on the day of the Examination.
  • Finger print will be taken in the examination centre. So candidates should not put Heena or Paint on their fingers on the day of the Examination.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the Examination Centre before the allocated time.
  • Admit Card should be kept safe even after the Examination as it will be needed in the Admission and the counselling process.

Details of JoSAA Counselling

The JEE Main Counselling and the JEE Advanced counselling will will be conducted by JoSAA.  The candidates qualifying the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced will have to register themselves with JoSAA. The candidates will be allocated the seats according to the merit and preferences. Candidates will be called for the JEE Main 2018 counselling process only after their successful registration. While in the registration process candidates will be given to choose their preferences which will be taken into account. There will be two mock allotments of seats after which the candidates will be able to modify their choices knowing their probability of Admissions in the institutes.

JoSAA Counselling Procedure 2018

  • The JoSAA Counselling procedure starts with the registration. The registration process starts from June tentatively. Candidates have to log in with their JEE Main Roll Number and Password. JEE Advanced qualified candidates will enter the JEE Advanced roll number and password. Candidates then have to fill up the needed details correctly to complete the registration process. In case the candidates will to change the contact details, it has to be done  at the time of registration. During the registration process, candidates have to change the password for their login id.
  • The candidates next have to fill the preferred choices and lock it. Choice filling will start from the month of June tentatively. Candidates with the JEE Main scores will be able to choose the available choices from the IIITs, NIITs and GFTIs and JEE Advanced qualifiers will be able to choose from the options available in the IITs. There will be options to arrange the choices as per preferences and also can modify the or interchange the choices. Candidates can delete the unwanted choices using multiple deletion. After choosing candidates can save the options and  lock the preferred choices. It is important for the candidates to take out a print of the locked choices.
  • Candidates will be allotted their seats according to their merit and preferences set. Seat allotment will be done by the Admission Authorities. The Seat allotment will be done in the online mode. Candidates will be sent a seat allotment letter which they have to download and pay the acceptance fees. After paying the fees the candidates have to report to the help centers for the document verification process. The selected candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 45,000 after downloading their provisional allotment letter.  Candidates have to carry the original documents at the time of verification.
  • Reporting at the reporting centres: Candidates will have to take all the original documents in the specified reporting centre. They have to carry the original documents as per requirement. . If the candidates do not attend or qualify the document verification process, then their admission may get canceled.
  • Reporting at the Allotted Institutes: After the verification process candidates have to report to the colleges or institutions for the admission process. The remaining balance admission fees is to be paid in the admission process. Candidates have to also provide the print out of the preference set in the choice filling procedure.

Delhi University Cut off will release soon

The Delhi University Cut off will be released on 19th of June this academic year. The cut off marks of University of Delhi indicates the minimum marks to be scored in the qualifying Examination to get Admission in the colleges under DU. The Admission will be based on the marks scored in the 12th standard. The total number of affiliated colleges under Delhi university is 64.The Cut Off is basically determined on the factors like the Number of Applicants,Highest and lowest marks scored by the candidates,last year cut-off trends, and the number of Seats.

Points to be noted

  • Different cut off list will be released for different colleges and institutes under Delhi University.
  • DU Cut off is calculated on the basis of “Best of Four”. Here the average of the highest marks in any four sebjects are taken into account.
  • Candidates ho meets the cut off have to report to the respective colleges for the verification of the documents and payment of the Admission Fee.
  • Eight cut off list will be released on different dates for different Category of students.
  • For colleges where seats remain unfilled, they will release their individual cut off list.
